One likes to live in the moment. I try, anyway. But sometimes, after what seems like an interminable winter, when the air smells new and wee things abound in the fields and there’s a hint of sunshine on this green island, I feel like grabbing the tiny tendril of summer that seems to be dangling just in front of me and dragging it forward to right here – right now.
Music helps with this, thusly:
Turned out great! Letting the toffee/banana/base refrigerate for 24/48 hours then adding cream really infused the whole thing with that lovely banana taste. NOM.
No pic of lasagne as it was all gobbled up too fast. 🙂

It's my Dad's 70th this Saturday and since the oul codger hasn't died yet, I thought I'd try and kill him with my cooking. JUST KIDDING. With my friends @tommcshanemusic and @quietlycolorful, I'll be attempting a trifecta of Lasagne, Banoffee and Fairy Cakes in preparation for his party this weekend. All mistakes guaranteed edible 😦
